Jason Thomas Cahill, founder and creative director of the Preppygangstas brand, was born in New York, reared between New York and North Carolina, and lived in Europe for 16 years, the majority of that time in the “La Belle Epoque” Neighborhood, known as Vinohrady in Prague, Czechia. Jason’s unique privilege of having lived abroad for so long has allowed him the opportunity to experience a myriad of cultural aesthetics.

His long stint in Prague gave access to not only continuous European travel, but also allowed him to travel extensively through South East Asia, the Middle East, and the Central Asian States in both civil and war torn times. As many wise books state, “Light can be found even in the darkest of places,” and Cahill notes that he had moments of creative focus on any given day, despite bomb threats or lunches at the Langham in London.

His visual momentos provide a visual archive for use on all his projects. The atelier will present exquisite home decor and gift items for a refined shopping experience. Preppygangstas, where chic meets cutting edge, class meets kitsch, and puritanical meets pop, melds a lifestyle brand in between the lines to create an aesthetic that surrounds the client with what THEY love. The brand continues to evolve, striving to promote and understand that all people are created in equal chicness.
